Loomis landing was established in 1928 and is an iconic piece of history in Manistee County and holds the current state record walleye catch in 1951 at 17.51 lbs. It's currently is a Rustic campground with marina and launch, and licensed boat and pontoon livery. Currently it has 11 rustic campsites plus care takers site. 50 boat slips and docking w/ room for expansion on both, 25 acres licensed by Consumers Energy, and approval 22 more docks for marina expansion. There is a camp store, small sleeping cabin at waters edge pitcher pump well & play area.
